A tradition of courage on the Texas plains

The Selden Volunteer Fire Department serves a wide expanse of Erath County, where response times can be long and conditions unpredictable. Our team of dedicated volunteers answers that call every day — from structure fires and vehicle accidents to medical emergencies and natural disaster relief.

Based at 2612 FM-913 in Stephenville, we are neighbors first and firefighters second. We understand the unique challenges of rural emergency response, and we invest in the training, equipment, and readiness that our community deserves.
